Bosu balance pads
Alternatively, use step panels or hurdles
2 marker poles
Tape

Goal

Improving diving save technique using effective training equipment.

Organisation

The goalkeeper starts next to the balance pads. The marker poles with tape are placed in the second half of the goal.

Action

1. The goalkeeper runs over the Bosu balance pads.

2. The goalkeeper adapt to the basic stance and catches a volley while standing, then throws the ball back to the coach.

3. Save No. 2: Diving save under the stretched tape. Shift in the goalkeeper's center of gravity—lower center of gravity for ground ball saves when diving.
